SGWEIGH Successfully Participated in API China 2026
From May 13th to 16th, 2026, the highly anticipated API China (China International Pharmaceutical Raw Materials/Intermediates/Packaging/Equipment Trade Fair) was held in Shanghai. As a professional manufacturer of automated weighing and inspection equipment, SGWEIGH showcased a variety of high-performance online checkweighers, capsule and tablet checkweigher, metal detectors, multi-lane checkweighing systems, and automated solutions for the pharmaceutical industry, attracting numerous domestic and international customers. 1. ±0.5mg High-Precision Capsule/Tablet Checkweigher: This equipment is primarily designed for online full-volume detection of drug fill weight discrepancies. It accurately adapts to the output rhythm of capsule filling lines and high-speed tablet presses, effectively preventing quality and safety compliance risks associated with “underfilling” and “overfilling.” Many visitors stopped at the booth to observe the equipment’s operation up close and inquired about its practical performance in controlling fill weight discrepancies at the “milligram level.”
2. Capsule/Tablet Metal Detector: This equipment can identify foreign objects of ferromagnetic metal ≥φ0.3mm and stainless steel ≥φ0.5mm. It provides a highly efficient metal contamination control option for solid dosage form production lines, and is particularly suitable for use in series with checkweighers in the drug packaging section to achieve dual detection of “weight + metal,” balancing compliance requirements and product safety.
3. Ultra-High-Speed Checkweigher – Reaching 1000 pcs/min, Adaptable to High-Speed Production Lines: The ultra-high-speed checkweigher with a sorting speed of 1000 pcs/min was particularly eye-catching at the booth. This model is design for the full inspection needs of high-speed production lines. It achieves piece-by-piece weighing and rejection without reducing production line speed, meeting the comprehensive requirements of speed, accuracy, and stability for batch production lines of oral solid dosage forms, granules, and powders in the pharmaceutical industry.
4. Multi-lane Checkweigher: This multi-lane checkweigher system supports multi-channel synchronous weighing, significantly improving production efficiency while maintaining precise weight control.
Notably, at this exhibition, Shanghai Shigan also systematically showcased its full product line, including the SG-100 (2–300g / 0.01g), SG-150 (5–500g), SG-220/SG-300 (small and medium packaging), SG-400/SG-450/SG-600 (10g–50kg large packaging), and the SG-Z series rotary checkweighers designed specifically for bottled products.
